Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

All manuscripts should be submitted ONLINE as Microsoft Word files after registration by the corresponding author and logging into this website. The submission of a manuscript to Journal for Foundations and Applications of Physics should imply that the paper has not been copyrighted, published, or currently submitted for publication elsewhere.

There are NO publication charges for the authors of this journal.

For manuscript preparation, the authors must adhere to following guidelines:-

1. First page of the manuscript must contain the title of paper, author names, affiliation, e-mail address of the corresponding author, abstract and keywords (maximum 6). Once accepted, a final electronic version of the manuscript typed in Microsoft Word with text, equations, tables, figures must be sent along with a pdf version of it.

2. The manuscript including the abstract, references and captions should be neatly typed in English, single-spaced on A4 size format with minimum 1" margin. All pages should be numbered in a single sequence beginning with the title and abstract page.

3. Equations should be neatly typed, aligned and numbered on the right. Notations must be legible, compact and consistent with standard usage.

4. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first appearance in the text and should be given in a separate double-spaced list at the end of the text material. Reference should be made to the full list of authors, title of article, journal name, volume number (issue), page numbers and year. Type the references in the following style:

 Journal references: Alain Aspect, Philippe Grangier, and Gerard Roger, "Experimental Realization of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen-Bohm Gedanken experiment: A New Violation of Bell's inequalities", Physical Review Letters, 49(2), 91-94 (1982).

 Book references: David J. Griffiths, Introduction to Quantum mechanics, (Pearson Education Inc.,New Delhi, 2013) p15-17, 432-433

 5. All tables must have captions and should be numbered in the order of their appearance by Roman numeral.

6. Figures should be sent as separate jpg or eps files. For review purpose, all figures may preferably be pasted in the main text document. Size of figure should be approximately half the size of a typewritten page. Figures should be identified by their number. The numbering should be in the order in which they are referred to in the text. Each figure must have its own caption. A list of captions should be provided at the end of the text.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
